The Lake of the Rockies Metro District is situated in Monument, Colorado West of I-25 with incredible views of the mountains, private open space, and easy access to Pike National Forest and Monument Lake.
The primary purpose of the District is to finance the construction and maintenance of public improvements for the use and benefit of all anticipated inhabitants and taxpayers of the District. The District’s Service Plan was approved by the Town of Monument’s Board of Trustees on January 20, 2015. The District is recognized as an independent unit of local government, separate and distinct from the Town.
Lake of the Rockies Metropolitan District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Lake of the Rockies Metropolitan District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
